Hi all!   I haven’t forgotten about this page, I just always forget to update it. 

Things are great, busy as heck.

Abby is now 5 months old, or will be in 6 days!   WOW!

Abigail Grace was born on May 27th, 2009 at 11:11am.  She was 8lbs, 12oz at birth and 22 long.

Andrea, Abby and I are home and all three of us are doing great.

Being a Dad is pretty amazing.

Thank you all for the messages wishing us all well!

Wow. Here at the hospital. My child will be born in mere hours.

Life change is on the brink.

Andrea and I are ready, but you cant ever really be ready for this.

To my unborn child… May you find life as amazing as your mother and I do. Find the things in life that bring you joy, and hold on to them with all of your strength.

Love often.

Dont shy away from new things and experiences.

Know that your mother and father will always love you and be here for you, no matter what.

You soon will have your entire life and whole world to explore. Enjoy it.

So we are now live. This wont get updated that often, but it is a heck if a lot prettier than the old page that I had out here.

This will give Andrea and I a place to post stuff for all to see.

New server and domain are operational!

So the Internet really is amazing.

I am working on the final turnup of the new server for my domain which is a Linux VMWare guest running on a Windows XP host. I have an external NAS box holding all of the data for the site on an NFS mountpoint.

WordPress will end up being the main page for the site with pictures served up by Gallery.

I can control all of this from just about anywhere either from a computer or my iTouch.

The last 15 years have been an amazing evolution of how tightly integrated the net is in many parts of my life. I never thought that things would progress this quickly.

I cant imagine what things will look like 15 years from now.
